I teach IB Maths and mostly work with students who are stuck between a 4 and a 6 and want a clear route to a 7. My lessons are quite structured: we sort out the gaps first, then practise the style of questions that keep coming up in Paper 1 and Paper 2. I also help with the Maths IA, especially when students have a decent idea but do not know how to turn it into a proper exploration.

I’m an IB English tutor with a literature background, and most of my work is around essay planning, commentary writing, and getting students to say something precise rather than vague. I spend a lot of time on Paper 1 technique and HL Essay structure. If you are doing IO prep, we can work on timing and phrasing too. I like texts where students can actually argue a point, not just retell the plot more neatly.

My focus is IB Biology, especially the parts students tend to memorise without really understanding. I teach cell biology, genetics, and physiology a lot, and I usually build lessons around diagrams, data questions, and short recall checks. I also support IA planning and write-up, particularly where students need help turning raw results into sensible biological analysis rather than just describing what happened.

I’ve been teaching IB Chemistry for several years and work with both SL and HL students who need support with exam technique as much as content. Stoichiometry, equilibrium, and organic chemistry are the areas I cover most often. I also help students tighten up their IA method and evaluation sections, which is usually where marks are lost. Lessons are direct, detailed, and based on the way IB questions are actually worded.

I’m an IB Physics tutor and I like the side of the course where maths and ideas actually meet. A lot of my students come to me for mechanics, fields, and electricity because those topics can get messy quickly if the basics are shaky. We do plenty of worked examples and I’m quite strict about units, definitions, and method marks. I also help with Physics IAs, mainly with research questions and uncertainty sections.

I teach IB Psychology and usually work with students who know the studies but are not yet writing high-level answers. A lot of our time goes into command terms, structure, and choosing evidence properly rather than dropping in everything remembered from class. I particularly enjoy biopsychology and research methods. I can also help with the IA, especially the report format and how to discuss results without sounding repetitive.

I tutor IB Economics and most of my lessons revolve around getting students to explain things properly, not just define them. We work a lot on chains of reasoning, diagrams, and the kind of evaluation that examiners actually reward. I teach both micro and macro, and I’m especially used to helping with data response questions. If your comments are too descriptive or your diagrams feel rushed, that’s usually where we start.

Hi, I teach IB Business Management and I tend to work best with students who want their answers to sound sharper and more business-like. We spend a lot of time on case study technique, application, and the difference between a basic point and a well-developed one. I also help with the IA, from choosing a workable research question to making sure the analysis does not drift into description.

I teach IB Geography and I enjoy the subject because it moves between case studies, data, and real-world patterns quite naturally. In lessons, I focus a lot on 10-mark and 16-mark responses, because students often know the content but do not organise it well under time pressure. I also help with the fieldwork write-up for the IA, especially with methodology, graphs, and linking findings back to the question properly.

I’m an IB History tutor and most of my students come to me for essay writing, source work, and revision planning before mocks or finals. I teach by topic, but I’m very focused on argument and evidence because that is usually what separates a decent script from a strong one. I also support the History IA, particularly with section structure and making sure the investigation stays analytical rather than turning into a narrative.
